  • Suitable Tea Types: Gaiwan is well-suited for brewing green tea, black tea, and yellow tea. Teapots are suitable for brewing oolong tea, black tea, and Pu-erh tea.
  • Multiple Tea Varieties: Gaiwan allows brewing multiple tea varieties without flavor mingling, while teapots are generally used for brewing one type of tea at a time.
  • Brewing Time: Gaiwan is a time-efficient tea brewing method, requiring a short steeping time with water around 90 degrees Celsius. Teapots, on the other hand, require a longer brewing time. The good insulation properties of teapots ensure a rich and enduring tea fragrance.
